An AI coding lab,
not an agency.
Dopamine Design Labs builds production software for teams that have outgrown their tools. We work in tight engagements with senior operators on both sides: design, engineering, and AI in one room.
Six rules we don't break.
- 01
Production from day one
Prototypes get committed to a real repo, deployed to a real URL, and shown to real users. We don't ship slides.
- 02
Small team, senior throughout
No juniors in disguise. The person on the call is the person on the keyboard.
- 03
AI where it earns its keep
We use language models for the work they're actually good at (extraction, classification, drafting, search) and human-readable software for everything else.
- 04
We measure operator time
Every feature is judged by minutes shaved from someone's day. If we can't measure it, we ask why we're building it.
- 05
Boring infra, sharp surfaces
Postgres, Next.js, and a CDN. Save the cleverness for the interface.
- 06
Stay through the first 30 days
Deploy isn't done. We stay on the keyboard with you while your team uses the thing in anger.
We started Dopamine because the gap between what software could be and what most teams actually ship has never been wider.
AI is a force multiplier for small senior teams. Used well, it collapses the time between idea and working product by an order of magnitude. Used badly, it ships a chatbot bolted to the side of an unchanged workflow. We're here to do the first thing, for the kinds of teams that recognize the difference.
Let's build something
stupidly good.
Bring us the messiest part of your operation. The thing you've been avoiding because the spreadsheet still kind of works. We build the replacement.
